TerraSize Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use TerraSize, we receive information such as:

• email address
• account credentials, handled through our authentication system (passwords are never stored in readable form)
• profile and account information
• saved projects, collections, and project settings
• geographic comparisons and customization settings
• custom regions and other content you upload or create
• communications you send to TerraSize
• subscription and billing status

TerraSize does not directly store full payment-card numbers. Payment information is processed by the payment provider.

If you use Google sign-in, TerraSize receives information provided through Google's authentication system, such as your account identifier, email address, and basic profile information authorized by the login flow. We use this information to authenticate and manage your account.

Payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe. TerraSize receives information such as your Stripe customer identifier, subscription plan, subscription status, billing interval, transaction status, and renewal or cancellation information.

Complete card numbers are handled by Stripe rather than TerraSize.

TerraSize collects technical and usage information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service. This may include:

• IP address
• browser and device information
• timestamps
• pages or features used
• error and diagnostic information
• session information
• demo usage and remaining demo time
• security and fraud-prevention signals

TerraSize does not currently use third-party advertising or marketing analytics trackers.

TerraSize uses browser storage and similar technologies to maintain login sessions, authenticate you, remember interface preferences (such as theme, display, watermark, and export settings), and keep the application working securely.

TerraSize does not use advertising cookies.

TerraSize uses information to:

• create and manage accounts and authenticate users
• provide the map and editor
• save user projects
• process subscriptions
• enforce demo and subscription access
• maintain preferences and provide exports
• send account emails such as verification and password reset messages
• prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems, and secure the service
• improve TerraSize and comply with applicable legal obligations

TerraSize does not sell personal information.

Information is shared with service providers only as needed to operate TerraSize, such as providers responsible for payment processing (Stripe), authentication (including Google sign-in), hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, and mapping and geographic data.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect security or legal rights, or as part of a legitimate business transaction subject to applicable law.

Saved TerraSize projects may contain geographic selections, object positions, styles, settings, and other project information. Private projects remain associated with your account and are protected by access-control rules so that other users cannot read them. Projects you choose to share through an embed link can be viewed by anyone with that link.

TerraSize retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain user accounts, fulfill subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and maintain security.

You may request deletion of eligible personal information through the contact page. Some records may need to be retained where required by law, accounting requirements, security, or fraud prevention.

TerraSize uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect user information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please use secure credentials and protect access to your account.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide rights such as accessing, correcting, or deleting personal information, obtaining a copy of certain information, objecting to or limiting certain processing, and withdrawing consent where processing relies on consent.

Requests can be submitted through the contact page. Identity verification may be required before completing certain requests.

Where applicable, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. TerraSize does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

TerraSize operates using service providers that may be located in different countries. Information may therefore be processed outside your state, province, or country, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

TerraSize is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If TerraSize learns that such information was collected without appropriate authorization, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it.

TerraSize may link to or integrate services operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

This Privacy Policy may be updated as TerraSize changes. The current version will display its "Last Updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through TerraSize where appropriate.
